creating a more equitable and inclu-

sive environment for all. Here are five

ways that privilege might be showing

up in your workplace, along with

some strategies for dismantling it.

Biodiversity is essential to all life pro-

cesses on Earth. Different organisms

thrive in environments where others

may not, but this is necessary to build

healthy, thriving ecosystems.

It’s the same with neurodiversity. If

we are to be creative and innovative

in solving today’s most complex

problems, we need all the different

ways that brains can think and

process information.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege

of teaching employability skills to

hundreds of post-secondary students

who identify as Autistic and neuro-

diverse. Working with these talented

individuals, it is clear that their neuro-

diversity brings countless strengths to

the workplace.
